المستخلص

مشکلة الدراسة: أجريت هذه الدراسة لتقصي العلاقة بعض السلوک النمطي والوظائف التنفيذية (الضبط الانفعالي، کف الاستجابة) لدى عينة من الأطفال الذاتويين بدولة الکويت، وتثير مشکلة الأسئلة التالية: يوجد ارتباط دال إحصائيا بين درجات عينة الدراسة الأطفال الذاتويين على مقياسي السلوک النمطي والوظائف التنفيذية (الضبط الانفعالي)؟، ويوجد ارتباط دال إحصائيا بين درجات عينة الدراسة الأطفال الذاتويين على مقياسي السلوک النمطي والوظائف التنفيذية (کف الاستجابة)؟
عينة الدراسة: بلغ حجم عينة الدراسة (35) طفلا من الذکور، وجميعهم من الأطفال الذاتويين، وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين (6-9) سنوات، حيث کان المتوسط العمري (7.323) والانحراف المعياري (0.768).
أهداف الدراسة: التحقق من العلاقة بين السلوک النمطي والوظائف التنفيذية (الضبط الانفعالي، کف الاستجابة) لدى عينة الدراسة من الأطفال الذاتويين، وبناء مقياسي السلوک النمطي والوظائف التنفيذية (الضبط الانفعالي، کف الاستجابة)، وقد تساعد نتائج هذه الدراسة أولياء الأمور والعاملين مع الطفل الذاتوي في التعرف على مظاهر السلوک النمطي مما يفيد في عمل برامج تدريبية أو إرشادية للتخفيف من هذه السلوکيات.
منهج الدراسة: استخدم في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي نظرا لاتساق هذا المنهج مع متطلبات الدراسة من حيث طبيعتها وأهدافها وإجراءاتها وذلک لإيجاد العلاقة بين السلوک النمطي والوظائف التنفيذية (الضبط الانفعالي، کف الاستجابة).
أدوات الدراسة: استمارة البيانات الأولية للطفل (إعداد: الباحثة)، ومقياس المستوى الاجتماعي الاقتصادي الثقافي (إعداد: محمد البحيري، 2002)، ومقياس ستانفورد - بينية للذکاء الصورة الخامسة (تقنين صفوت فرج، 2011)، ومقياس تقدير التوحد الطفولي (C A R S Childhood Autism Rating Scale) (Rinne & Shopear, 1988)، ومقياس السلوک النمطي للأطفال الذاتويين (إعداد: الباحثة)، ومقياس الوظائف التنفيذية للأطفال (إعداد: الباحثة).
نتائج الدراسة: أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود ارتباط سالب دال إحصائيا بين درجات عينه الدراسة من الأطفال الذاتويين على مقياس السلوک النمطي (الحرکات المتکررة، والاهتمام بالتفاصيل، والتجميع، والترديد، والدرجة الکلية) ومقياس الوظائف التنفيذية (الضبط الانفعالي) و ومقياس الوظائف التنفيذية (کف الاستجابة) وذلک عند مستوى دلالة (0.01).

Stereotypical Behaviour and Its Relation to Emotional Control and Response Inhibition in A Sample of Autistic Children
Study Problem: This study is implemented to check out the correlation between some stereotypical behaviors and the executive functions (emotional control – response inhibition) in a sample of autistic children in state of Kuwait.
The study problem arouses the following questions:
Is there any significant statistical correlation between average scores of the study sample of autistic children on scale of stereotypical behavior and the executive functions (emotional control)?
Is there any significant statistical relationship between average scores of the study sample of autistic children on scale of stereotypical behavior and the executive functions (response inhibition)?
Study Sample: The study sample consists of (35) male autistic children aged (6-9 years old) with an average age (7.323) and standard deviation (0.768).
Study Objectives: This study drives at investigating the correlation between stereotypical behavior and executive functions (emotional control – response inhibition). The study results may assist parents, teachers and those in charge of autistic children to identify the aspects of stereotypical behavior which could be beneficial for holding training or counseling programs for alleviating those behaviors.
Method: The study uses the qualitative (descriptive) correlative method, as it suits the study demands regarding its nature, objectives and procedures, in attempt to find out the relationship between stereotypical behaviors and executive functions (emotional control – response inhibition).
Study Instruments: Primary Data Form for Child (by researcher – Scale of the Socio-economic Cultural Level (by Mohamed El-Behairy, 2002) – Stanford Binet Scale-Version V (coded by Safwat Farag, 2011) – Childhood Autism Rating Scale (by researcher) – Scale of Executive Functions for Children (by researcher).
Study Results: The study results indicate a significant negative statistical correlation between average scores of autistic children on scale of stereotypical behavior (repetitive behavior – concern in details – collecting – repeating and full score) and scale of executive functions (emotional control) and scale of executive functions (response inhibition) at (0.01) significance level.
